No classes will be held when Blue Valley School District is canceled. Check www.bluevalleyk12.org when weather is questionable.
THESE CLASSES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE LIVINGSOCIAL PROMOTION!!!!
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
There will be no classes when Blue Valley is not in session, on holidays or during conference times. All dates can be found on the district calendar .
For the Yoga and Pi-Yo classes you'll need a yoga sticky mat. You can find them at Wal-mart, Target, Dick's, etc. A blanket or towel is nice for savasana as your core temperature drops during this time. It is best to not have eaten 1-2 hours prior to class.
Please bring small hand weights to the Pi-Yo Pump class. This class will involve upper body, lower body, and core exercises along with yoga postures. If you need modifications, please either ask before or after a class. I'll try and give as much instruction during the class as possible but need to be attentive to every participant.
Classes are $5 each and can be purchased as a single class or you can buy a group of classes. Please note, no refunds will be issued so plan accordingly. Also, you may carry credits over to the semester/session immediately following but they cannot be carried over twice (example - if you purchase classes this fall, they will carry over to 2nd semester if you do not use all of them but will not be able to be carried over to summer; classes purchased 2nd semester are good during that term and can be carried over to summer but not the next fall). Ask if you have any questions regarding this policy before purchasing.
Please be considerate to everyone in class around you! If you need to keep a mobile phone with you, please put it on silent or vibrate so as not to disturb others. If you need to leave a class early (yoga & pi-yo in particular) please do so quietly. If you are late to a class, enter quietly and be respectful as to where you setup.
If you are new to Yoga or Pilates or just need some personal attention, I will be holding workshops throughout the semester in my in-home studio. The class sizes will be limited to 4 participants to give you all the instruction you need. If this interests you, feel free to contact me or watch for the dates.
As always, don't hesitate to ask any questions. Email is a great way to reach me robin@breatheandbeyoga.com or catch me before or after class.
Looking forward to a GREAT semester!
